Stats-check...

City wins in current last 14 games:
City 2 Barnsley 0
City 5 Forest 1
Cardiff 0 City 1 (looks weird even typing it that way round - are they sure we won away?!)
City 2 Birmingham 0
City 3 Wolves 1

...So to get your soon to be 1 win in 14 you'd have to count from Newcastle at home onwards to leave out the Forest win & have Barnsley as the single win. Which then takes you through to Leeds away for the 14th. Gotcha. You're not so unrealistically writing off the rest of this horror month, leaving just QPR at home as the final game next month.

Obviously we're not getting anything from the three remaining aways but I do reckon we'll pick up some points from the three homes this month. Well, I hope so as we just sorted tickets for two of those (with Clare already ticketed for the next home (when my Saturday League team have our final game of the season). I always pick up a few at either end of my playing season, so if anything I'll be interested in the novelty of seeing a part of Irvine's caretaker reign. That and the dubious novelty of a backrow view of any Snakepit numpty that slates the Murphys all game. Then an Upper Barclay elevated view of what ought to be a return stuffing after the humiliation down at theirs, but I have my doubts on our mental ability and desire to achieve that. Final game of the season is the day after my veterans team's night out so I dunno if I'll be interested/capable.
