PM: MIKEWALKER soon to be MIKERUNNER

Another +1 for Sweatshop's quality/knowledge plus if you can get hold of a parkrunner's card then they do a discount - you may only need to drop their name into conversation at the till to get it.

I've used the discount with them to further reduce clearance item price on a lightweight running t-shirt & some 7" running shorts with built-in boxer lining, but I haven't had to buy runners there yet as my old pair are still going strong; just passed the 500 mile mark via 127 activities since the summer of 2011, so Garmin helpfully statistises for me, I used SportsShoes.com's eBay shop to buy discounted old stock via their catalogue that they used to post out to me after I once ordered some 3G footy trainers from them. Not a single sign of wear on them, and given they are old school white (not modern-day funky patterned and/or fluoro), they're only slightly grubby on top after many a muddy Catton parkrun.

So yeah, you could use Sweatshop's help to identify a suitable pair then compare the discount you could get with them versus any online saving you can find on your phone.

ps. Got my Norwich Half marathon racepack through the post today (Weds). #2744. My 2nd after Bungay Black Dog in 2015 where I clocked 1:41. Two Sundays time with my final training session of 10mi to do tomorrow (Thurs/today)...
