We don't need new owners to progress whilst we have parachute payments but

Once we have no parachute payments we will find it hard to compete without investment/wealthier owners and will probably be consigned to a long stint in the champ or below.

The biggest fault our owners/board have though is their lack of ruthlessness and pathetic decision making. That's what has really cost us our two most recent opportunities to establish ourselves back in the premier league.
