Depends who's doing the homeschooling

Me and my 4 siblings were home schooled (me less than the rest). The 4 of us are now a teacher, doctor, social worker, and one has taken on the small family business.

Missed out on some things though, and some home schooling is pretty extreme.

That said, the ways schools work at the moment is pretty extreme too, with excellent teachers bring driven into the ground and pupils bring pressurised from a very young age.
