I borrow my FiLs Stihl chainsaw

No grumbles apart from he bought one of the smaller ones so it lacks a bit of oomph. Deffo buy a proper chainsaw helmet/visor and gloves and trousers as it's quite rare to get a superficial amputation. Ride-on; depends on how big your place is so don't buy a little machine if you've got a big patch as you'll spend half the time trundling back and forth to empty it. Get it serviced every spring. Probably not wise to combine the two activities until you get a bit of confidence.
