The problem is we dont have anyone in the side capable of passing the ball

Safri can, but that it, Hes the only one in the whole side (Midfield especially) who can drop off and create space for a short passeither to himself or to a team mate.

The rest of teh side are unfortunatley "static", both Doc and Fleming prefer to play it long as their short passing skills are non existent. Drurys passing is also now woefull. Huckerby can beat a man using pace and skill but hes not one for short sharp crisp passing moves.

As for Etuhu i have yet to see any evidence that he is a footballer at all. Hes an thlete nothing more. He does not have the intelligence to drop in and out and create space, in short he doesnt want the ball. As for Hughes i will not say anything through as their are not enough swear words in the english language.

This leaves Safri pulling all the strings with no one to help, hes dropping off wanting the ball creating space, while the rest of the team stand static. The opposition just have to put 1 man on Dafri at all times and our match is over, game lost.

Earnshaw was having to spend a lot of time coming back deep from a strikers position to try and recieve the ball at feet (for once) when he did this he generally used the ball well and returned up front waiting for teh next ball to be played to him in the area he needs it (the penalty box) this of course never came.

Earnshaw does his work and earns his money in the box, unless we can get the ball to him inside the penalty box we might aswell not bother playing with any strikers.
