The most disturbing bit in that Ed Balls interview was right near the end

On Alex Neil's replacement,

"The idea that we have any kind of hidden plan here, or that a conversation has been had, or we've got a target, is absolute garbage."

So there was no plan then and there still is no plan. Is that right?
