and to his credit he responded within half an hour. I listed my concerns and he understood and agreed with many of them.
The one thing we have to accept, though, is the board will not be departing with Nigel Worthington's services. This is all too evident having allowed him to spend the money on Etuhu, Robinson and Earnshaw (plus the loan signings). It would look silly on the board's part to sack him having allowed this to happen over the past few weeks. And I think that is the crux of the matter.

I don't agree with it, but that will surely be the case for the forseeable future.
