The only thing I can think of with regards to the timing of the sacking...

Is that they've had to move quickly to try and secure his replacement, as whoever it is may not be available for much longer. This suggests to me that it's looking like it's Roy Hodgson, who has been quite heavily linked with Leicester in the last week or so. The timing just makes no sense otherwise.

The problem with this theory though is that suggests that we have a plan in place. Judging by the recent events at the club, the board have about as much capability in planning as the current government appear to have with the whole Brexit situation.

Still, Roy Hodgson, decent club record on the whole, probably has some good contacts but is he a strong enough character to kick some arse and drag us out of the championship, I don't know? As long as it's not Alan f**king Pardew I don't really care.
