My conspiracy theory

The board want to change the structure at the top of the club. They want to appoint Roy Hodgson as director of football and Steve Stone as the finance director and the club have no CEO.

Alex Neil won't work with Roy and therefore has been given the boot this afternoon even though lunchtime clearly he thought he was here for ever.
