had genuine hope and optimism before Fulham, and was gutted with how it panned out.

In contrast, I fully expected a performance like today, had pretty much given up on any play-off hope weeks ago and, fortunately, am not overly bothered by today's shambles. Hopefully will just push Neil out that bit sooner.
