Just back from watching our youth Euro WARRIORS.

We battered 'em! Did have a strong team out though with Josh Murphy, Lafferty, Bennett, Jarvis, Maddison, Godfrey all starting.

Murphy was a class above everyone else in the first half and scored a great solo goal.

Maddison also stood out and even scored a Panenka penalty FFS. And I always like the look of Efete when I've seen him.

Heard the inevitable "Neil wants to start him orn Satdee" after Lafferty had trampled a few pasty-faced Croatian whelps into the turf to score a couple. He then hoofed one over when clean through to remind us why he shouldn't.

And one more thing: Are long-sleeve football shirts now totally defunct? Even on a taters night like tonight, it was all short-sleeves over those Under Armour type things on every player.

Anyway, a good night. Champions of Europe, we know what we are. ♫ ♪
