Time to mention the dreaded "R" word

RELEGATION.
At the weekend George Burley said Southampton were in a relegation battle - they are only three points behind us and have a better goal difference.
Based on our performance so far we'll end the season with 56 points. It only needs January's form to continue and we won't get the 50 normally required to be safe.
Of our remaining 14 fixtures, six are aginst teams below us and five are against teams in the top seven. All of these teams want the points as much if not more than us.
It's time Worthington stopped talking about making the play offs, we're just not going to and concentrated on keeping us in this division. Better still get rid of Worthington today and appoint Mike Newell.
