Thoughts from yesterday

Great day out up until 3.00 o'clock. Nice to see Delia and Michael mingling with the fans in the pub before the game, putting all the little Norwich stuff on one side, how many owners would engage with fans directly like this?

Given the volume of unavailable players the team was pretty much expected. Plenty of effort throughout the game but Alex summed it up in the post match when he said it was poor decisions both up front and in defence which cost us. When we equalised it really felt like we would go on and win but then sloppy defending totally drained the confidence you could see it.

Fans were excellent throughout but then in my opinion a segment totally embarrassed themselves by turning on the players at the final whistle when they came over to applaud us. How in any way does that help? We were all frustrated but booing and singing against your own players - I want no part of that.

Being on terracing was great but I think I am a t**t magnet, at least you can move. I was surrounded by Jon Rogers characters.

We now realistically need 10 wins from 15 minimum and with 3 tough trips to Yorkshire, I simply can't see it happening now the gap is too large and the teams above us show no sign of faltering.

Hopefully we get a reaction next Sunday and can at least cling to an outside chance for the last part of the season. In my opinion, if we do not make the playoffs, a major above and below the line change in the summer is required.
