The light brigade (in their dolmans*) went into bat against the Russians

and had a roller-coaster ride through the Valley of Death

(*point of order, I can't off-hand recall what uniform regs were in place for Crimea, or if any of those dragoon regiments were still wearing hussar uniforms with dolmans, but I think they were...)
