I always get a buzz when the country what

birthed and bred me does a win. Footy or fencing, badminton or bargain hunting. Just a little spring in the stride. Because it's great to share success with any commonality. Village, City, County, Country. Hemisphere. Taking that commonality further, I don't like it when we lose. At anything. And that "we" changes all the time. Apart from Narch. Egg chasing gets a bad rep on footy boards. But if you like anything about being an English person and then potentially an English sports fan, give it a crack. It's up there. If only to share that common buzz. Which is sometimes why a lot of us do all this anyway.
