Thoughts

As you all know, I'm a Hearts supporter first and foremost. But I've been a season ticket holder for 30 years and Norwich is, and always will be my number one English team. After today's game, I was talking to a mate who is a Hibby but has been a season ticket holder here for 18 years. I said to him "Ken", that's his name, "if that was Fester Road and the Hibbies had lost 2-1 to Hearts and played the way Norwich did today, or if the reverse happened at Tynecastle, what sort of a lynching would there be". Not for the defeat, that happens in derbies. For the lack of passion and the couldn't care less attitude that seemed to be on display. For the complete absence of tactical nous, for the effing idiocy of lumping high balls up to a 5'5" centre forward and for the sheer incompetence of giving the ball away to a blue shirt virtually EVERY time we got the ball. That was absolutely unacceptable and I can't believe that after watching that today, the board isn't going to give this boy the heave with immediate effect. And whilst they are doing that, Radio Norfolk wants to be doing the same with Neil Adams who seems to me to be a Pol Pot type of apologist. The best being "It's not all down to the manager. It's the way thet're playing". God bloody save us.
