Wigan must be the worst team we have played this season, baring perhaps Blackburn in the first half of the first match.
So superior in the first half, Mulumbu and Pritchard very good.
2nd half fell asleep for twenty mins and predictably conceded two goals. Ruddy should have come for their first, high floaty cross to the 6 yard box that he should have punched away. He is so big, he should be commanding his 6 yard box.
It would be interesting to find out how many times we have conceded from being in front. Also how many times we have let leads slip away.
What should have been three easy points, have only themselves to blame.
New boy Wildschut was poor I am afraid. But we looked very fragile when both Murphys came on. They cannot tackle to save their lives and are pushed off the ball too easily. When we are playing 4 in midfield with 2 Murphys we look vulnerable.
Still, home wins and away draws might just see us into the 6th place, but we may have to beat Sheff Wed away which may be a bit tricky as we haven't beaten any of the top 6 yet - and still can't see off the poor sides away.
Long journey for such a disappointing result.
