The people you so casually dismiss

Make up a significant, if not majority, proportion of the electorate. It's all of our funerals.

You and I know where to look for the stories behind the headlines but we are in the minority.

And BTW it is often referred to simply as 'the Muslim ban' with no context. Eg the Today Programme uses it rather a lot in their interviews and indirectly related stories. Yes, you get more balance when it's a dedicated piece, but rarely if it's not the main story.

Now you and I might understand why it can be justifiably called that, but we also know the counter arguments - not everyone will.
