The info is there if you really search for it, but you have to search it out. If,

as I suspect is the case with a very significant number of people in this country, you rely on news broadcasts, front pages and social media then you get a pretty one sided picture. It was the same with Brexit and its the same with pretty much most major news items these days and it really does shape public opinion.

I stress again, I don't agree with the executive order. its a clumsy, ill thought out hasty mechanism from a man obviously keen to make his mark early and show he follows though on his election pledges. Many people would read the full details and still form the same view they already have. But many who will tell you Trump is evil probably don't know any of his policies in any detail. We seem to live in an age where snap judgments are made on the back of social media soundbites and headlines and I don't think its great.

Ps Have got Daily Politics on in the background as I type and to their credit they are covering the Bercow story in a very balanced way.
