Just back from the game . . .

Slightly concerned when I saw both new signings were playing.
Shouldn't have worried. They are both big and quick.
It makes a change to have some strength on the left and they were both very promising, putting in some big tackles.
Towards the end it was apparent that Dijks was not match fit as he started to give the wide man a bit of space. He was laying cramped on the pitch at the final whistle.
Typical Colin team, lots of high pressure, lots of long balls down the middle and long throw ins. But for once, our defence seemed to win the aerial duels. Don't know if it was the presence of the two new big lumps, but it was much improved.
Dreadful game tho', and we were hanging on a bit at the end.
But three good points and for the first time for a long time, I think we may have a chance at sneaking in to the playoffs.
