I've been on it all PM.

The early stuff is good, but it ain't really my bag. It's a bit like how I feel about listening to the Beatles: I can recognise the quality, and see why it's so influential, and why others lap it up, but it just doesn't push my buttons.

What I really like about the early stuff is how you can hear future-echoes of things like the Sugar Hill Gang, Public Enemy or even the Beastie Boys.

But then I put on I'm New Here, and some of the rest of the more recent stuff, and fu-uh-cking hell, yeah, that really did push my buttons. His transition to gravelly voiced old dude, and the almost-electronica backing were right up my boulevard.

Thanks Wroth - I started catching up on a missing bit of musical/cultural education I didn't even realised I was missing.
