I'm not sure which is worst...

The game I sat through from 11:15 onwards wondering when we were going to start playing football, or the fact that I then sat throught the recording of it when I got home.

I think my motivation for the latter was just the novelty of seeing us score, but then I watched a bit more. It wasn't quite as bad on TV as in reality (if that makes sense), and we played some reasonable stuff in short patches. But ball retention in midfield was s**te, especially whenever Hughes was involved, and Doherty had his most hesitant and disorganised game for ages. However, hard as it is to believe, we could have won it if if if if...

And as for that f**king goal at the end. Jesus.

Worthington said before the game they needed to freshen it up a bit. I think they do, Nigel. It's you they need to refresh.
