stating the obvious but it all depends how good these two new guys turn out to be.
I'm not worried about the "deadwood" - most of them are out of contract in the summer anyway so the squad will already be much leaner if we are in the champ next year.
In terms of the ins and outs the Canos thing is ridiculous and a symptom of poor management but if he wasn't going to play then my as well get rid and get as much as we can back in money terms.
Dijks and Wildshut both look decent signings on the face of it and we've also movd on two higher earners who perhaps were not 100% committed and replaced them with two players who should be "hungry". I also like the fact we will have a proper left back and a proper left winger rather than have Brady flitting between the two roles. However if one or other of the new guys turns out not to be up to it (or needs time to adjust) then we have weakened the squad because we have lost two seasoned, proven first team performers. I also don't like the fact that we are now one injury away from Whitaker at left back which seems careless. at least before we had two left back options.
All in al therefore the jury is out and we will have to wait and see what happens.
