Disks; Ajax supporting Dutch colleague at work tells me that he's a good full back....

Ajax was his first club, but he didn't develop as expected so they sold him to Willem II Tilburg, where he was much better so Ajax bought him back in Summer 2015.
He was the regular left back under Frank de Boer last season, but De Boer likes conventional full backs.
Ajax have a new coach this season who likes to play midfielders at full back, hence Dijks has only three appearances so far.
He's big, strong, good on the ball, reasonably quick.
