It'll come out rubbish but honestly it's very funny if you're not just reading it on the

wrath board.

Apparently on live aid day, Dire Straits were booked to play the Wembley Arena the same night. They had had quickly finish their set at the stadium and then dash to the Arena. Come the time, it was all busy and they were worried they wouldn't get out in time so they approached some policewomen to ask for help. They said 'we are in dire straits and we have to get to the Wembley arena'. The police women had never heard of the band and just thought they were panicking a bit. Still they sorted it out by shouting to everyone 'These gentleman or in dire straits!!! They need help to get to the Wembley arena!!!'

(Honestly, if you could hear me tell it, you'd be rolling on the floor)
