TBF - how many times have we moaned that the club targets Player A with no plan B?

I think we are just seeing Plans A and B being played out in the media. Plan A (or B) hasn't come off so the other alternate is progressed.

Doesn't mean that both would actually have been signed even if they'd both said yes - I'm sure we would have chosen one of the two.
