How close are you to the router?

I had the 2110 on my Vaio laptop last year, the signal was terrible and only connected when I was within a few meters even though BT claim it will reach a hell of a lot closer. Not only that, but a lot of the time it just wouldn't get a signal and I would have to leave it a few hours :(
