I don't understand your "Shearer gets everyone else injured" argument at all.

Souness didn't have Shearer (or anyone similarly aged or supposedly undroppable) when he got those horrendous injury lists at Liverpool, Southampton and Blackburn, did he?

And how come our players don't get injured when they play with Thorne, who is similarly old and far more slow and s**t.
