We were 3 years (?) ahead of schedule

for being in the PL.

It would have been hugely surprising if we had a PL Scouting & Recruitment set-up in place when we were expecting to be in D2.

And how would you have prevented our Chief Scout leaving for Chelsea? (summer 2011, IIRC)
