It has nothing to do with whether they deserve criticism or not no but

its relevant in terms of whether its worth putting up with stick from the public for doing your job. Stick from fans goes with the territory of being a football manager and the flipside/compensation is they get very, very handsomely rewarded for what they do. Alex Neil will probably be set for life due to his spell at Norwich City where for the most part he has not done a very good job so I do not feel in the slightest bit sorry for him because he has had a few people shouting "Neil Out" from the stands at a couple of games.
