A mate's girlfriend took pity on me and offered me her hat. I was too stupid to look past how silly I'd have looked and said no. I stuck it out but f**k me did I take some defrosting afterwards. Luckily they had a pub for that (s**t, yes, but I really, really did not care at that point).
