too high in the circumstances but was not the main reason people stayed away which was (in my opinion) more to do with disillusionment with the club, board and manager and wanting to send a message to the board that they should not take us for granted as I think many feel they have been. Certainly that's why I stayed away, that and our woeful attitude to cup competitions in recent years.
As most of us have season tickets boycotting a match we have already paid for is futile and self harming. Missing this game was the obvious way to send a little message.
The club now seems to be happy to make out that it was all to do with pricing but I hope that is just spin and that they have taken note of the underlying message.
