Now that's just typical.

One of my Christmas presents was one of those sealed tins that holds coins.

It holds £500 of £1 & £2 coins. Cool I thought, that gives me a year to save up for my season ticket. So I emptied my little pot of £1 coins into it, there was about £20 in it.

Now I learn that a new £1coin will be issued in March and the old ones will cease to be legal tender in October.

It will take some doing to get £500 in the tin defore October.

Isn't that just f**king typical 😠
