yeah, that's probably true

although if the fans did know about the new contract, the board may have been under even more fire over the last couple of months.

For me though, it's just one more small thing to add to the long list of errors of judgement they have made in the last year or so, particularly regarding Neil, rather than a huge scandal in itself.
