People were critical of the club's silence. They've spoken, yet people unhappy
A case of people not unhappy that the club was silent, but people unhappy that they didn't say what they wanted them to say.
Short of "he's been sacked and we're interviewing potential replacements tomorrow" I'm not sure anything the club could have said would have been accepted.
