When I first started cooking in my twenties I got mixed up between a clove of garlic and a

bulb.

So when the recipe (some beef stew thing) asked for two cloves, I peeled two bulbs (about twenty plus cloves) and cooked the stew. It tasted like a Frenchman's nutsack and the beef was chewy too.

We were still sweating it out two weeks after.
