Players really seemed up for it yesterday

except Robbie clearly pulling out of a tackle in the first half. In fact, write off the first half, it was dull as s**t. However, once Mulumbu started putting in a few tackles, and the ref stopped blowing every time a Villa player fell over, the game got interesting and we started to battle. Should have been more comfortable in the end and a little squeaky bum time at the end as usual but I went home happy.

Thought the midfield played great. I have really been impressed with Jonny since he has come back, especially.
