They probably had no choice. Since then it has been 'as you were' before.

Of our last ten managers by the way, only four managed again after us and only one of those at arguably a bigger job then he had at CR. Only two of the last six managers prior to Neil managed again.

The man that made most progress was the one they liked the least because he ripped up the happy campers' atmosphere.

I wouldn't mind all the ten year stuff about their manager if they actually demonstrated the work he and the club was doing on areas such as recruitment and academy, that they could present a vision about the future that wasn't just about their own utopia of ownership but about the things we have got so wrong over the last few years and how we are going to put them right.
