In the last few years have they reduced the size of toilets? The gap going out to the U-Bend?

Since we had a new bathroom a few years ago I regularly get a chocolate log wedged that can't be shifted with flushing alone, but never used to have this problem, so either the toilets have got smaller or my turds have got bigger.
