We've been talking about it over the last year more seriously than ever. I think it started after Lambert left, though that wasn't the reason and nor was Hughton. The group of us that regularly meet up around the match and go to a few aways every season are all, pretty much without exception, seriously considering whether we'll renew this year, or the next. A couple probably aren't going to, I reckon, and those that do are probably only doing it because they don't want to lose their seat.
I know there needs to be a churn and the Barclay could do with an influx of energy, but the thing that impressed me most about Brighton was that in their stadium every part of the ground was making noise. There seems to be some kind of contractual obligation at Carrow Road that only the Barclay does the shouting. Why don't other parts of the ground start getting behind the team or make their feelings known?
It all feels like end days to me, as it did in 1995/6 under Chase.
