there was one chap a few years ago round here served on a parish council or summat, created a walter mitty persona to garner support etc, that's just plain fraud and he should (and was) named and shamed.

the poor feller that has mental strife should obv be supported and not villified. bit of a storm in a tea cup imo. unless i'm wrong and it's rife but i don't think it is.
