Nightmare

Kids' cat had been out overnight. Didn't show up this morning either. Assumed he was sheltering from the rain and been locked in a shed or whatever. Went door to door, one clue led to another, picked up the body this evening; car got him. Distraught children...who am I kidding, he was one of the family...distraught everyone...hardest day as a parent so far.

Just feeling s**tty.
