I'm fairly sure those fans get financial support from the clubs to do that

they certainly do in Latin America, but then again, those 'privileged' fans who interact with the club often act as a kind of mafia.

Mind you, I don't think that'd happen in the UK. I think the club should invest some money in liaising with the fans to do things like this. Just imagine how fantastic it'd be to have giant banners and huge amounts of confetti, instead of a load of s**tty clappers which probably cost just as much
