Unfortunately I think they'll split

The remnants of the blairites and old school lefty socialism are not compatible. They only started seeing it after they fell of their surfboards riding the waves of Cool Britannia etc. Now they're down, and a lot of their work from previous terms in office have been found to be not what everyone thought at the time, they've resorted to in fighting and smear campaigns against each other. With similar things going on with the current toiy party and other right wing factions, plus the rise of the SNP, the next election will be a time to strap in and hold on tight!
