We applied to be authorised and regulated five years ago...

From memory, I think they get back to you if there's a problem. It took us 18 months to get authorised and nearly sent us under while we were waiting as we were a start-up and couldn't trade until we had permissions. Don't expect a quick response unless they've improved markedly since then. Good luck!
