Amusing how, if we are buying a player, we'll only pay, according to Neil, "what we think he is worth".
But if we're selling a player (Ashton) we'll ask for far, far more than he is worth and not sell unless we get it! He dismisses bids for Championship level clubs as being too high, but they -assuming it is Colchester- are only protecting their own interests with Halford and Danns-as we were with Ashton.
Still, three decent enough aquisitions, lets hope the manager plays them in their strongest positions. I rather think that, because Earnshaw and Thorne played together at Cardiff he'll do just that, with JJ Mk.II on the right.
