When not if, and they're all grown-ups

Every manager at every club goes to s**t sooner or later. OK, there have been exceptions like Fergie but very very few.

If my best mate asked me to do a job at his company, I stabilised it, turned it around, achieved some success but then started to look stale, I'd probably initiate the conversation as I'd be worried about letting him down. I think this is what most adults would do in those circumstances and I'd trust Roy, Delia and Michael to be grown-up enough to cope when it came time for a further change.
