Wake up feeling a bit gloomy instead of excited. Know that I'll have to go but quite a big bit of me would prefer to stay at home – just in case. It starts raining late morning which makes the trip even more unappealing. Despite sitting to have all the time in the world suddenly realised I'm late and have to walk to them comfortable pace to get there on time.
The whole ground seems edgy which makes me feel very stressy. People around me are starting to matter and moan but it's okay because I've got radio Norfolk listen to. Unfortunately Chris and his co-commentator also being very gloomy. Match kicks off. I try to clap a lot to try and compensate in case anyone tries to boo. I'm hoping the players will be able to hear me from my seat in the upper river end. The other team are well organised and set up to stop the scoring. We seem to have lost any ounce of confidence we ever had that we can break a team down. It early season Beautiful passing seems to have disappeared.
I don't want to predict how it ends as I don't want to tempt fate. It is still 2016, The worst year ever! (Well, from my point of view. I heard them say on radio four last night that the people who had predicted Brexit were now calling at Donald Trump victory).
