Ha Ha

It makes your blood boil that the "undemocratic Bureaucrat-run" EU (must be true because the Sun and Daily Mail said so) actually had a powerful democratic arm in the form of the EU Parliament. Even a rudimentary examination of EU Treaties, which have given the Parliament rather a lot of teeth, over the past 20 years could have told you that.
But, of course, that would take a little bit of effort and it is much easier to just believe what you are told (as long as it agrees with what you want to believe).
